Here is something completely different. I always ask couples to make the engagement session their own, lets do something that they like to do. Check this out...
Met at Longwood to capture some images of Giselle. She was amazing with her NO, NO, NO, NO and the multi lingual songs she sings. I can't believe she put up with me dragging Mommy, Oma and a stroller that she didn't want to ride in all over the gardens.
Met the Weber's up at a favorite spot to take some family shots. Had some fun, Emily knows how to work the camera, Julian was a different story. Here are a few of the many images.
I met Laura and her Mom for her senior photos at the Arboretum. It was a beautiful day and it took a little bit but Laura hammed it up for my "runway" shots. Congratulations Laura GA Class of 09.
I met Lindsey and Dan at a secret location for their E-shoot. Well it's not a secret to photographers in the area, but you would just pass on by if you didn't know it was there. It is the garden of a very nice family in the area that lets bridal parties take photos at their home. Lindsey and Dan are a fun couple. Lindsey is so photogenic and Dan is, well Dan is Dan. Just kidding - we were joking about that during the session, had to mention it here.
Had a blast at Longwood with Kerrie and Kyle. When we first met, I couldn't figure out why Kerrie looked so familiar. Here she played Bloody Mary in the high school musical South Pacific a few years back. Morgan was one of Bloody Mary's kids. Now to get up in front of a bunch of people to sing and act you would think Kerrie would be very out spoken - but no, she is the opposite. BUT then there is Kyle. He makes up for Kerrie. We talked and talked while Kerrie just smiled.
Here is the first of three E-shoots last week. Mary and Andrew met at St. Joe's so it was only natural that we do the session there. We had a great time, turns out that they are fans of the TV show The Office. We swapped Dwight and Michael-isms. Mary is also the Bride to Be that made my day at the Bridal Expo last February. She, her Mom and Bridal party (to be) took over my booth and went nuts over my samples. Needless to say, my ego started to inflate until after they left and I was there alone again answering the question of the day - "How much?" which brought me back down to earth.

My name is Ron Dlutz and I am a portrait / wedding photographer currently building my business and also working for a couple other studios in the area. Every weekend I get to meet some of the nicest people and share (OK capture) their big day with them. One of the best hilites in my career was being asked to travel to Ireland with the bride and groom to photograph their wedding. I just recently took photos of their baby. I hope to build that kind of relationship with all my couples. So far I have been lucky to photograph many of my former bride and groom's children.
I believe that great photography is priceless and should be available to everyone - children only stay little once and your family changes as everyone grows.
